Just suppose that we all cared enough about the "other guy" to give them a hand, a shoulder, a buck when they needed it. Just suppose that someone did that for us when we were down. Just imagine all people being supported by all people, being helped when down and giving when up. Wouldn't that level the playing filed a bit? Wouldn't that fix a lot of with what is wrong with the world today.
If you find yourself with excess
give some of it away
Know it will be returned grandly
in ways unimaginable
Perhaps the man with plenty
who has no friend to lean on
In his generous employment of a person in need
discovers a life time companion
Perhaps the woman who sews
a garment for one unclothed
Finds she owns the special gift
of bringing smiles to faces desperate
Perhaps when being caressed
instead of beaten
A child grows to know
love and acceptance
Will that same child
not show love to others, then
if he is allowed to know it
live it and taste it
We just gotta suppose
that all other living creatures
man, woman, child, animal, plant
want to matter enough to be
RESPECTED
Just suppose......
